Specialist vehicle supplier Terberg DTS (UK) Ltd has announced the appointment of Robin Johnson in the newly created position of Head of Rental & Special Products, with effect from July 2012. Reporting to Managing Director Alisdair Couper, Robin will be responsible for the development of the company's rental fleet utilisation, as well as the introduction of planned new additions to Terberg's product portfolio.
Robin rejoins Terberg DTS in this new position, having previously been Managing Director for the past five years at Croft Fleet Maintenance, the MAN and Isuzu Truck dealer recently sold to Steadplan and having previously worked at the Halifax based company over 10 years ago.
Announcing details of Robin's appointment, Alisdair Couper said "Terberg DTS now operates a sizeable rental fleet in the UK and we are currently undertaking a major fleet replacement and expansion programme over a 2 year period. Over 50% of our current distribution tractor rental fleet is being replaced, as well adding new 2012 specification vehicles to the fleet. So this is a key time for Robin to rejoin the company and his long experience within the industry will be a valuable asset for us."
In addition to overseeing the development of the Terberg UK rental fleet, Robin will also play a lead role in a shortly to be announced product launch for Terberg in the UK.
