The recently launched Niton XL2 XRF analyser combines a tough and
durable exterior with sophisticated electronics to produce an XRF instrument
well suited to more arduous applications often found in metal recycling yards
and premises. With a robust yellow outer casing to aid identification and
help prevent the instrument being misplaced, the new model is feature rich
at a competitive price.
When the going gets tough and the environment is particularly demanding,
the Niton XL2 is the XRF instrument to choose. It is highly suited to use
in applications such as metal alloy analysis and sorting, due to its rugged build and simplicity of operation.
The Niton XL2 allows the user to simply 'point and shoot', providing rapid
results, displayed on the full-colour screen. Even non technical persons can
easily operate the instrument.
A comprehensive software suite, provided with the instrument, allows the analyser to be fully customised, including setting user permissions, producing bespoke reports, and creating personalised certificates. The new Niton XL2 also allows simple data transfer to a PC or similar using connections via USB cable or Bluetooth technology to make communication of the results and subsequent analysis or print out quick and efficient.
Although positioned at a competitive price point, the Niton brand and the fact that the Niton XL2 has been developed by Thermo Fisher Scientific will give customers confidence in the product. In the UK, all Niton XRF instruments are supported with a comprehensive warranty and service facilities, with an extended preventative maintenance contract available as an option.
To celebrate the launch of the Niton XL2, Niton UK are offering a free laptop computer, ideal for further analysing and storing XRF results, with the first ten orders received.
