Colliers International and joint agent Neil Munro Property Consultants have sold 555-557 Lawmoor Street, Glasgow G5 0TT to Bell & Bain Limited, one of Scotland's oldest printing firms, on behalf of a private investor client.
The 30,000 sq ft single storey industrial unit, which also incorporates offices and a secure yard, is situated within the Dixons Blazes industrial estate, and had been marketed at a quoting price of £499,000. Bell & Bain have purchased the building as an addition to their HQ building in Thornliebank, to facilitate expansion plans.
Iain Davidson, director of Industrial & Logistics at Colliers International in Glasgow, said: "We are delighted to have played a part in supporting the future growth of a Glasgow institution such as Bell & Bain, which continues to be an important supplier of printing and binding services. Dixons Blazes offers an excellent central location for the company, with easy access to both Glasgow city centre and Central Scotland."
