Chaired by CILT Vice President Jim Spittle the event will be addressed by leading names from the industry.
From Sainsbury's, Lawrence Christensen will wrestle with the joint challenges of climate change and the economic downturn; Chris Tyas, Business Services and Supply Chain Director from Nestlé UK& Ireland, will give examples how Nestlé is collaborating with customers, suppliers and even with other food manufacturers to reduced its environmental footprint; Dr David Menachof from CASS Business School will look at the need to carefully manage the cash-to-cash cycle; Craig Bunker from Key3 Partners will analyse business recovery; Robin Proctor from the Travis Perkins Group will discuss how to use supply chain operations to enhance profitability; Mike Brannigan from TDG and Paul Archer from Oliver Wight shall also be speaking.
The event closes with an evening dinner and the guest speaker for the evening will be Perry McCarthy, BBC Top Gear's original 'The Stig'.
