Volvo Construction Equipment Division, Volvo Group UK Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Nick Allen to the position of Managing Director.
Nick joined the dealership in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer having previously worked within Volvo CE's European Sales and Marketing function. At the end of 2013 he took on the role of Interim Managing Director for the division replacing Val Ledden who was promoted within the Group.
Nick aged 48 holds a BA (Hons.) in Economics from the University of Reading and has over 20 years experience working in a variety of senior management roles with responsibilities for the UK, Europe and North America. Commenting on his appointment Nick said: "This is a challenging new role in what is an extremely important market for Volvo CE. I am excited by the prospect of leading the organisation and equally I am really looking forward to interacting with our customers so that we can continue to support them in fulfilling their ambitions."
Volvo Construction Equipment Division markets wheeled loaders, articulated haulers, hydraulic excavators, graders, Volvo utility equipment and Volvo road machinery products in the U.K. There are eight strategically placed customer support centres located at Stirling, Immingham, Warrington, Birmingham, Treforest, Woking, Duxford and Newcastle.
