Bovis Lend Lease UK has signed a national business wide framework agreement with EcoSheet manufacturer, 2K Manufacturing.
The agreement sees the revolutionary EcoSheet eSite hoarding panel, an environmentally-friendly plywood alternative made entirely from plastic waste, being named as a preferred hoarding solution on Bovis Lend Lease construction projects in place of imported plywood. It is a decision which further demonstrates Bovis Lend Lease's commitment to innovation in product sustainability and construction waste reduction. EcoSheet could save the industry in excess of 30,000 tonnes of waste to landfill each year.
Ecosheet is a home-grown success-story developed by 2K Manufacturing in Luton. It is the world's first recycled plastic plywood substitute made entirely from local recycled waste mixed plastics and is 100% recyclable at end of life.
Bovis Lend Lease pioneered the use of EcoSheet at its St David's 2 mixed use development in Cardiff and has experienced first-hand the commercial and environmental benefits of choosing EcoSheet over imported plywood.
