Clearabee targets growth in commercial sector with appointment of business development manager

Fast-growing rubbish clearance and waste removal company Clearabee has appointed a Business Development Manager to drive expansion in its commercial business sector.

Matthew Hall, a former civil litigation expert with 11 years’ experience in the field, is tasked with targeting large institutional clients and sectors for long-term business development.

“Clearabee is very strong in the domestic market and my job is to make it just as strong in the commercial market,” says Matthew. “I will be targeting the industrial sector, the public sector and third sector and will be looking to attract business from undertakings where there’s scope for more rapid business development, such as businesses and organisations that are perhaps smaller in scale but need our ability to book in collections at 24 hours notice and larger institutional businesses where we need to build relationships over a longer period of time and go through in depth supplier evaluation procedures.

Clearabee Founder and Managing Director Daniel Long is delighted that Matthew decided to embrace bulk waste removal. “I am glad that Matthew decided to make the career change. His skill set is ideal for Clearabee and he will play a vital role as we continue to grow, particularly on the commercial side of our business.”

Clearabee caters for all types of business as well as public organisations such as government departments and local authorities and third sector undertakings such as housing associations and charities. It offers a raft of services to these customers including office clearance, excess bin waste clearance, void property clearance, fly tipping clearance, furniture disposal and WEE recycling and disposal.

Hall’s appointment comes at a time of enormous growth potential for Clearabee, which has been trading for less than two years. “It’s very exciting,” says Matthew. “In the last 12 months we’ve increased our fleet of vehicles five-fold. We’re trading out of a variety of locations across the country and have just opened a major new depot in Slough. What is really exciting though is the market’s potential. It is largely untapped and we are in prime position to do so. There’s plenty of room in the marketplace for us to grow and expand even further to all areas of the country.”

Clearabee, which provides a competitive and labour-saving alternative to skip hire, intends to expand its fleet still further in the short to medium term and in the longer term the company has plans involving expanding into other markets in the waste management sector such as a skip hire sourcing service to complement its core business of bulk waste removal.
