Earlier this year Isuzu Truck UK announced plans to raise its UK customer care standards further, with a new programme of ation for its dealer network. The first dealer to achieve the prestigious new Isuzu 'AA' accreditation status was Paynes of Hinckley, who have been swiftly followed by Glasgow based Imperial Commercials.
A further two dealers are currently going through final approval for Isuzu 'AA' dealer status and as Keith Child, Marketing Director at Isuzu Truck UK says, "Our dealer standards have evolved as we have strengthened our position in the UK and this accreditation gives customers even greater confidence that they will receive the highest possible levels of service from us at all times. It is our intention to ensure that as many of our dealers as possible reach the top 'AA' status, as we continue to build on our unrivalled approach to customer care."
Working alongside its UK Dealer Council, Isuzu Truck developed this new dealer accreditation, which was launched at the beginning of the year. Each dealer was initially audited internally, which was then followed by an external audit conducted by ITUK personnel. The audit covers the two main trading operations of a typical dealership, Sales and Parts/Service, giving 'A' or 'B' status for each operation.
According to Keith Child, "It is possible for all of our dealers to achieve the full 'AA' status, depending on the level of investment that they make. By achieving these new standards, the Isuzu Truck dealer network yet again raises the bar, in terms of unbeatable customer care".
As a long established and respected truck dealership, and part of the Isuzu Truck UK dealer network since 2007, Paynes of Hinckley were the first to achieve the coveted Isuzu 'AA' dealer status.
As Dealer Principal, Nigel Payne says, "Truck dealers today need to satisfactorily meet and exceed customer's expectations and these new Isuzu dealer standards achieve just that. They contain all the service and support elements that our customers want from us. From the outset, we met almost all of the criteria laid down by Isuzu which made it possible for us to achieve 'AA' status in such a short time."
