LGV Trainers has recently ordered two new 44ft Cartwright tandem axle trailers to support its diverse range of professional driver training courses.
The Northampton based company has previously rented Cartwright trailers and has been so pleased with the quality of the product and service that they have taken the decision to purchase two new trailers from Cartwright.
The two new trailers have been delivered and are now complete with full livery promoting the LGV Trainers brand and are operating at the company's training & test centre alongside its fleet of DAF trucks. The trailers will be loaded with 8 IBCs, each containing a tonne of water, in order to meet test conditions and in order to offer drivers “real life” driving experience whilst training.
LGV Trainers has a history going back to 1968 although the current training company was formed in 1991 and now employs 10 people - six instructors and four administrative staff. The training school offers a full range of LGV and CPC Driver training split evenly between Corporate and Independent clients across a diverse range of sectors including; distribution, recovery, landscaping, plant hire and construction.
The only independent training provider in Northampton with a DVSA approved test centre, LGV Trainers provides a unique experience with customers training and testing on the same site, providing consistency of learning in a secure, safe environment.
Christopher Harwood, Managing Director of LGV Trainers, commented: "We have been hiring trailers from Cartwright for some time and have been very happy with our experience. There is a lot of wear and tear involved in training and the product has certainly met our requirements so we made the decision to acquire two new trailers. We are very pleased with the quality of the product. "
