New appointments at gas detection and safety monitoring systems company Trolex

Trolex, the leading manufacturer of gas detection and safety monitoring systems, has appointed a new Business Development Manager and Key Accounts Manager in the sales department, plus a new International Sales Director, to join Trolex's growing team of experienced professionals.


With six years previous experience working at MTL, looking after their international distributors, specialising in selling instruments for the oil and gas markets, Neil McDonald has joined Trolex as the company's new International Sales Director. Neil's responsibilities will include appointment and management of international agents and distributors for Trolex. Neil holds a private pilot's licence and likes to restore various old and rare cars and motorcycles in his spare time.


Qinglin Li has been appointed as Business Development Manager in the sales department responsible for the development of business in China. Qinglin previously worked as China business manager at a company providing engineering solutions to the rail industry. Fluent in English and Chinese, Qinglin enjoys practicing Tai-Chi and other various Chinese martial arts.


Also joining the sales team is Tim Allard. Appointed as Key Accounts Manager, Tim will be focusing on development of existing customer relationships. Tim previously worked in the oil, gas, nuclear and rail industries in both business development and project sales management roles.
