NIC Services Group has further expanded its business

with Tesco by winning its first distribution centre cleaning contract with the supermarket giant. The new contract, which is based in Didcot Oxfordshire, began at the end of February and follows NIC¹s contract win at the Tesco Extra in Rutherglen, Scotland.

Paul Thomas senior buying manager Tesco Corporate Purchasing said:

“NIC has been supplying cleaning to Tesco since early 2005 and now clean over 300 express format stores throughout the UK. In recognition of their consistent cleaning performance and commitment to serving Tesco and its customers, we were delighted to award NIC the clean at one of our large produce distribution centres in Didcot Oxfordshire.

The 300,000 sq ft site operates 24/7 and NIC's contribution to further improving cleaning standards has been fantastic, and their commitment first rate. This contract has required a major investment in the latest range of large ride on cleaning machinery.”
