Nick Brightey to manage new York DC for Potter Group Logistics

Following the successful acquisition of House of James Transport Ltd, Potter Group Logistics' general manager for Selby, Nick Brightey, is moving to its new York distribution centre (DC) to manage the integration of the combined businesses.

Formerly the House of James Ltd, the York facility has now become one of six Potter Group Logistics DCs strategically located in the UK.

Nick Brightey, who has been in the transport and logistics industry for 21 years, will be based at the York DC to ensure the continued smooth running of the operation whilst bringing the businesses together.

Brightey comments on his new job role, "I'm looking forward to integrating House of James with Potter Group Logistics to make an efficient and responsive larger company. This will sustain the growth of the business and maximise operational synergies across both transport fleets.

"Being part of the Palletline network is an opportunity we gained from the acquisition of House of James Transport and, where appropriate, we plan to offer these services to customers of all six of our DCs."
