Norbert Dentressangle has delivered a range of LEGO models and ‘props’ for the UK movie gala screening of the computer animation adventure comedy film, The LEGO Movie, based on the iconic construction toy. The film opens at cinemas across the UK this weekend.
As well as delivering large LEGO brick built models of the film’s ‘male and female’ stars Emmet and Wyldstyle respectively, Norbert Dentressangle transported large-scale LEGO bricks, 10 different toy movie sets and two play tables to the Vue West End cinema in Leicester Square, London.
Using one of its shared user network vehicles, the company also delivered a range of film publicity models and props to London’s leading department store, Harrods.
The project was handled by the Specialist Services arm of Norbert Dentressangle Transport and Distribution UK, which provides two-man deliveries for large or unusual items that require careful handling. With specialised materials handling equipment (MHE), such as ‘pallet scoots’, the models and merchandising were unloaded, unpacked and positioned to point of installation at both venues.
