Norbert Dentressangle welcomes further 23 managers onto its unique Foundation Degree in Leadership and Management programme

As part of its strategic talent management approach, Norbert Dentressangle launched the programme in 2008 to provide talented middle managers with the support and training to help them fulfil their potential. In addition, for those managers with few qualifications, the programme offers the opportunity to achieve a degree, providing formal recognition of their experience and competence.

Developed and delivered in collaboration with The University of Northampton, the two year course was the first in the country to offer the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) Level 5 Extended Diploma in Leadership & Management as part of a Foundation Degree.

To date, 24 managers have graduated from the programme, with another 15 due to complete in January. Of the 24 managers who have completed, all are still employed by the business and 65% have since been promoted.

Mark Simmons, HR Director for Norbert Dentressangle Logistics UK said: "Our strategy is to develop a culture of high performance, capable of adapting swiftly to new opportunities and challenges in order to deliver profitable growth.

"Having the right people with the right skills is at the heart of our service to customers and the ability to foster and retain talent is critical as we continue to grow our business."
