Nordic ID and GS1 Germany join forces

Nordic ID and GS1 Germany join forces. Nordic ID will be present at the renewed GS1 Germany Knowledge Center as the new GS1 Germany Solution Provider.

Nordic ID has been announced as the new solution provider for GS1 Germany. This partnership will facilitate close cooperation between both parties, especially in regards of the GS1 Germany Knowledge Center. Nordic ID is as of now part of the Knowledge Center GS1 Germany in Cologne, Germany. The goal of the partnership is to provide interested parties with cross-industry solutions and help to create open dialogue in the area of RFID.

GS1 Germany just finished a 2,500 square meter extension, featuring modern conference rooms, a Creative Lab as well as excellent industry-specific live components. The renewed GS1 Germany Knowledge Center was inaugurated in a launch ceremony on July 1st, 2014. The GS1 Germany Knowledge Center now features even more activities and offers interactive exchange of information and practical learning experiences in realistic environments.

Jörg Pretzel, CEO at GS1 Germany states: “We are convinced that the cross-company collaboration in this creativity-enhancing environment will be even more successful than before. With the expansion of the Knowledge Center, we want to meet the requirements of our customers and emphasize our expertise of solutions for efficient processes along the entire value chain. "
