Pall-Ex celebrated its thirteenth anniversary this week at a glittering event attended by some 400 guests at the prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
During the year, Pall-Ex and its staff have been working hard to raise much-needed funds towards the work of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers – including their innovative "Penny-a-Pallet" donation scheme.
A cheque for £10,000 was presented to the Trusts Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager, Julie Armour. The anniversary event also raised money through various activities on the night, which are expected add several thousand pounds to the above figure.
Remarkable sector-leading growth has been achieved by Pall-Ex since it was first established in 1996 by founder and CEO Hilary Devey. Since then, Pall-Ex has consistently set the pace for innovation and quality of service in distribution. Hilary Devey said: "I greatly enjoy the opportunity to celebrate and reflect on business success. As we continue in the next years to pursue new initiatives and involve ourselves in new markets, Pall-Ex will continue to embrace the spirit which created the business. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved and thank everyone for their part in it. We are particularly pleased to be able to give something back." Earlier in the year, Hilary was named a patron for The Princess Royal Trust for Carers.
