Palletised network organisation, Palletforce, has celebrated another milestone after seeing its 20 millionth pallet being handled at its 400,000 sq ft Burton-upon-Trent hub.
The magical milestone was reached in June, two months shy of the 13th anniversary of the network welcoming its first pallet in August 2001, and is the latest in a series of achievements for the company, including being awarded five consecutive RoSPA gold awards.
In addition, it also shared a record £5m dividend between its members earlier this year, and continued its ongoing investment in technology and recruitment of both members and staff.
“The fact we have now handled 20 million pallets is absolutely amazing, and is a testament to the hard work of our members and staff. We pride ourselves on the quality of the service we provide and we are well equipped to handle another 20 million pallets over the next few years,” said Michael Conroy, Chief Executive of Palletforce.
“We are committed to remaining at the forefront of the pallet industry and will continue to expand our network into Europe and develop our use of technology to improve our services even further.”
