Palletforce celebrates its 22 millionth pallet milestone

Palletforce is celebrating another major milestone after handling its 22 millionth pallet at its world class hub in Burton-upon-Trent.

The UK and Europe’s leading palletised network, which is one of the youngest pallet networks at only 14 years old, broke the 22 million mark during the last week of February, just months after hitting 20 million pallets in June last year.

The figure comes off the back of a year of achievements for the network, including continuous investment in technology and infrastructure ensuring that Palletforce offer members and their customers a market leading quality service.

Stephen Fagan from founding Palletforce member, Fagan and Whalley, commented: “Who would have thought that 14 years ago in an old aircraft hanger in the Midlands with 560 pallets on our first night, which was a record for a start-up, that we would reach the 22 million pallet milestone in a state of the art, purpose built hub, the envy of the sector.”

Michael Conroy, Chief Executive Officer at Palletforce, said: “This is an incredible achievement and is a great testament to the hard work and dedication of all our staff and members.

“We have the best quality network with market leading technology and on top of this; we have also developed a European network, Allnet, handling over 9 million pallets per annum. The foundations of quality and technology are strong and the future is extremely exciting for Palletforce and its members.”
