Palletforce members got into the swing of things when they took to the fairways for their UK annual Golf Day.
Members from the UK and Europe’s leading palletised distribution network gathered at Carden Park Hotel, Golf Resort and Spa in Cheshire.
Players enjoyed playing 18 holes on the prestigious Nicklaus golf course with fellow members and their customers.
The event was followed by a golf trick show from Tricky Rob (Rob Brown), a fully qualified PGA professional and concluded with a three course meal and presentation to award all the day’s winners.
The 18-hole Team Competition was won by Steve Haines from S&J European, Simon Westwood, Grant Melvin and Brian Dempsey from Bleach of Lavant.
Paul Booth of Chambers and Cook won the individual competition and recorded the longest drive of the tournament, while Carl Brogan of EDS Couriers and David Williamson from Bedford Transport took second and third place.
Other awards were given to Wayne Evans of Lockwood Haulage who ‘Beat the Professional’ while his colleague Paul Simpson won ‘Nearest the Pin’.
“Our annual golf day is always something we look forward to and once again, it didn’t disappoint,” said Dave Holland, Sales and Marketing Director at Palletforce.
“Palletforce Members seem to get more competitive each year and it was great to all get together and enjoy a sunny round of golf in fabulous surroundings.”
