Palletforce, the UK’s leading palletised freight distributor, will be among the exhibitors at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show.

Since its inception in 2000, the Show has become the best attended, largest and the most comprehensive road transport and logistics event held in Britain.

This year’s event, which runs from 26-28 April at the NEC in Birmingham, will feature 450 exhibitors from all sectors of the road transport industry, and is expected to attract around 20,000 visitors during the three open days.

Palletforce sales and marketing director Dave Holland said: “The CV Show is a major showcase for our industry and we are delighted to be taking part once again this year.

“It’s a great opportunity to focus on member recruitment and develop new business relationships, while many of our existing member companies and suppliers will also attend.”

Palletforce is made up of 88 independent haulage firms, which together provide an unrivalled UK and Europe-wide network centred on the company’s distribution hub in Burton upon Trent.

Earlier this year Palletforce revealed plans to turn the facility into a 620,000 sq ft 'SuperHub', due for completion in 2017. The development will be the largest of its kind in Europe, capable of processing in excess of 30,000 pallets per night for distribution across the UK and the continent.

This will take the company's total investment in its national distribution hub to £50 million.
