Palletline Excellence Awards 2015

Leading UK palletised distribution network, Palletline held its 2015 Excellence Awards at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Saturday 7 February to celebrate the hard work of staff and members.


Hosted by comedian and impressionist, Alistair McGowan, the evening was a fun filled event with speeches from both chairman, Trevor Ellis and managing director, Graham Leitch, and the awards coming thick and fast.


Winners included Potter Logistics for Palletline Depot of the Year Gold Award, Stephen Sanderson Transport Ltd winning the Palletline Excellence Award and Balin Distribution for the Best Network Support Member.


Graham Leitch, managing director, said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the event at the weekend. Speaking on behalf of all the staff at Palletline PLC, we had a fantastic night and it was a great chance to celebrate the achievements within the network over the past 12 months.”


Palletline is a nationwide, member-owned cooperative network with more than 6,000 vehicles, 12,000 staff and access to over five million square feet of warehousing space.


The network provides high quality, time sensitive collection and delivery services to a diverse range of customers, including retailers, home delivery firms, manufacturers and construction companies.


Graham concluded: “2015 looks set to be another very successful and profitable year for Palletline and we hope to build on last year’s momentum. We are also looking forward to welcoming a number of new members in the coming months.”
