Greenford-based logistics firm, Palletways London, has strengthened its team with the appointment of five new staff.
The company, which is part of The Palletways Group, Europe’s largest and fastest growing distribution network for palletised freight, appointed two new drivers, a traffic clerk and two sales staff.
The appointments follow the expansion of the company’s service offering to customers in the TW postcode area whereby small consignments of palletised freight will be collected from customers in the area for onwards delivery across the UK, Ireland, the Benelux countries, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
Sacha Wilks, General Manager for Palletways London said: "We’re delighted to welcome our new team members who bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge, which will be a great benefit to our business.
"Our aim is to consistently provide the best quality service to our customers and our investment in staff of a high calibre underlines our commitment to deliver this."
Palletways, which was set up in 1994, has 300 plus depots across the group, delivering 3.5 million pallets per year throughout the UK and nearly 2 million pallets a year in mainland Europe.
The company’s distribution networks in the UK and mainland Europe are supported by an unrivalled and fully integrated IT infrastructure, which allows customers to track and trace consignments using the internet.
