Palletways, Europe’s leading provider of express palletised freight services, has gained reaccredition to the Investors in People (IIP) standard in recognition of its commitment to the continued development of an empowered employee environment across the Group.
The IIP standard sets out levels of good practice for training and development of staff and companies are invited to apply for reaccreditation every three years. Palletways was initially accredited in the UK in 2012 and group wide in 2013 and has achieved consistent reaccreditation since then.
James Wilson, Palletways’ Group Chief Executive, said IIP is part of the DNA of the Group and an essential component to support its future ongoing performance. He comments: “This award demonstrates just how far and how fast Palletways has developed. We have come such a long way in a relatively short amount of time, from an immature British business to a significant European-market Group supported by an IIP culture.
“The IIP system is one that allows for a variety of recognition levels and I fully expect to be applying for the next level of accreditation in the future and I’d like to thank every single employee for their support so far.”
Palletways delivers to 20 European destinations, which is more than any other pallet distributor. The network consists of 400 depots across Europe of which more than 100 are in the UK.
