Palletways has grown its UK network after appointing two new members.
Fusion Supply Chain Solutions (SCS), based in Nottingham, will cover the Leicester postcodes and handle more than 600 pallets a week and Cammack, based in Cheshire, will operate in the Crewe area and distribute more than 240 pallets a week.
David Coleman, logistics manager at Fusion SCS, said: “Our customer base for both haulage and warehousing has grown over the past few years and joining a pallet network will help us build on this success. Palletways’ extensive domestic and international networks will boost our service offering in the UK and Europe and we look forward to working with Palletways’ sales and marketing teams to help grow our client portfolio in our postcode delivery areas.”
Jo Cammack, director at Cammack, added: “Palletways has a great reputation in the industry. We especially look forward to using its state of the art IT systems which will boost our operational efficiencies and customer service.”
Luis Zubialde, managing director Palletways (UK) Ltd, commented: “I am pleased to welcome Fusion SCS and Cammack to the network. Demand for our palletised freight services has risen rapidly over recent months and I look forward to utilising their experience to grow our business even further in the East Midlands and northwest England.”
Palletways is Europe’s largest and fastest growing express palletised freight network. Fusion SCS and Cammack are part of more than 100 members in the Palletways’ UK network. The company’s distribution networks are made up of independent transport companies who share each other’s resources to deliver consignments of palletised freight to market faster and more cost effectively than ever before.
