Pfaff to launch its new counter balanced stacker range at IMHX.

Two new model ranges – upgraded design and build – available in 800, 1000 and 1200 kgs capacity.
EGV SCB Wirral-based Pfaff-silberblau is fast gaining a reputation as a market leader in the design and supply of advanced products for all kinds of materials handling challenges.
Since the successful launch of their first EGV range of powered counterbalanced stacker trucks early in 2006, Pfaff has been closely monitoring take up of the new machines and listening carefully to users' feedback and needs. Gwyn Davies, General Manager of Pfaff's Materials Handling Division comments: “We've been very pleased with the performance of the first products we launched in the UK. The take up has been excellent and customers have appreciated the versatility of the range. What we've tried to do with the second wave of machines is to further enhance their build quality and robustness to meet the needs of the industry.”
The upgraded and expanded range includes two model types – the EGV SC – available in 800 and 1000 kilo capacities and three lift heights – and the 1200 kilo capacity EGV SCB available in four lift heights. Both combine significantly enhanced build quality with a host of useful operator and safety features.
All models in both ranges have an exceptional skirt clearance of 80mm – compared with the usual industry standard 25-30mm, which prevents the machine bottoming out. It also offers an overhead operator's guard (standard on the 1200 kg model), both the SCB and the SC have the same proven Curtis electronic control system, and there is a 1600 kg version of the SCB available on request.
In addition to the standard models Pfaff specialises in the design and manufacture of machines tailored to challenging and large-scale operations, such as baggage and aircraft container handling, low level order pickers, powered pallet trucks and reel handlers.
Safety, quality, reliability and ease of use characterise the entire range which will be on show at IMHX from 13th – 16th March 2007 in Hall 20 on Stand C120.
