Plan for 2014 now: Join RTITB at the Commercial Vehicle Show

As this is being written RTITB are busily preparing for their attendance at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2012, to be held at the NEC Birmingham from 24th-26th April.

Joining hundreds of companies from throughout the UK’s road haulage and logistics industry, RTITB will be promoting the Master Driver CPC Consortium over the three day event. A total solution for the delivery of Driver CPC Periodic Training, the consortium currently boasts a membership of over 200 strong organisations, covering over 300 locations throughout the UK. Providing members with comprehensive, industry developed courses, training materials and guidance, the consortium offers a flexible programme that can be tailor made to cater for the unique needs of the driver/employer.

In addition to promoting the Master Driver CPC Consortium, RTITB will also be utilising their appearance at the CV Show to raise awareness of the Master Driver Registration Scheme (MDRS), their secure, online database which allows for the recording and storage of training details, enabling easy analysis of a driver’s progress, helping to reduce administrative time and costs.
For over 10 years the CV Show has remained the largest annual road haulage exhibition in the UK and with the September 2014 deadline for Driver CPC for LGV fast approaching, the CV Show proves to be an invaluable way in which to notify drivers and employers alike of the importance of completing their Periodic Training ahead of this date. The Driver CPC legislation has been surrounded with much controversy throughout the industry but RTITB are keen to acknowledge that the new regulations will actively work towards improving and maintaining current driving standards within the UK and ensuring that drivers remain legal and compliant.

RTITB would love to see you at this event so please do not hesitate to come along and say hello to our team. We will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the Driver CPC Periodic Training delivered through our consortium, or any questions you may have regarding other services offered by RTITB. Whilst at our stand, you can also get a caricature of yourself as a memento of the day.

Attendance to the CV Show is free and can be registered via the official website at www.cvshow.com. For more information on RTITB and their events, visit our website at www.rtitb.co.uk.
