Plastic returnable transit packaging RTP company, Schoeller Allibert, expands its expert sales team

Schoeller Allibert, a world leader in plastic returnable transit packaging (RTP) has again expanded its expert sales team with the appointment of David Bean who will cover Scotland and the north east of England.

With a background in the recycling and waste management industries, Schoeller Allibert's environmental credentials were vital in David's decision to join the company, as he explains: "My experience in the recycling sector has changed the way I look at industry, and working for a responsible organisation is very important to me. Schoeller Allibert is a market leader in developing solutions that are not only fully recyclable, but can be made from recycled materials themselves and play a big part in reducing emissions in the supply chain for many sectors. After having worked in sales roles for many large, household-name companies, this dedication to 'green' practices is what attracted me to the role."

David will cover all of Scotland as well as the north east of England as far south as Sheffield, and will be working for a diverse group of customers in a wide range of industries. He adds: "As well as getting to grips with the extensive product range and broad customer base, I'm looking forward to introducing new customers to the benefits of RTP and encouraging them to take advantage of the environmental benefits offered by recycled - and recyclable - plastic RTP."

As part of the Schoeller Allibert sales team, David will have the opportunity to introduce customers to a range of tools developed by the company to help select the correct RTP and optimise vehicle fill. Additionally, he and the team offer an industry-first site survey service, based on a full review of a customer's supply chain from inbound supply, warehousing and on-site handling, to vehicle fill and outbound supply, which contribute to saving time, money and reducing the carbon footprint of their supply chain.
