Polythene UK, the largest broker of polythene film and bags in the UK, has launched a new consultancy service.
The new service, launched this month, is completely free, and reviews company’s complete polythene operations, looking at the products they buy, who they are buying them from, their in-house processes, and their delivery requirements.
James Woollard, Polythene UK’s Managing Director, explains: "Companies will receive a full report that is specifically tailored to their business. The report will outline savings and improvements that can be made. They won’t need to work through us, we will put them in-touch with individual manufacturers who will improve their ROI – so they can continue as before, but just get a much better deal."
James continues: "However, if my team and I can show a company a saving of 20% plus, which I am confident we can, it would then make sense for them to use Polythene UK as their broker to advance purchase all of their polythene, which we would do for only 10%. So they still get to make a saving of 10% plus, where we look after everything for them, so that they don’t have to worry about a thing."
The Polythene UK consultancy service includes:
Advice for when it is financially advantageous to buy material
Purchasing the product on behalf of the company, from their various suppliers
Storing a 3 month supply for the company, so that they can call it off as and when they want
Distributing the product on behalf of the company anywhere in the UK within 2/3 days from call off (Polythene UK can also collect their waste plastic at the same time)
Invoicing the company only when they receive their order
And finally, Polythene UK will also save all the company’s problems that they currently face when buying from abroad, e.g. factory shut-downs, exchange rate fluctuations, delayed deliveries and storage issues
James concludes: "We have a dedicated team of 8 technical sales staff and 5 customer service staff who will look after all this for companies wanting to take advantage of our consultancy service. We have large warehouses and currently hold approx £1 million stock which is all bar-coded and tracked, so companies can enjoy complete peace of mind, and concentrate on more important areas of their business, whilst still saving 10% plus on their polythene spend."
