Potter Logistics forms a Palletline alliance with SMT at Droitwich

Standard Motor Transport (SMT) has recently relocated to Potter Logistics' Droitwich distribution centre (DC) on a 12 month rolling contract. Both companies see this as an ideal opportunity to increase business and improve Palletline services.

SMT is leasing warehousing space and will be positioning its delivery and collection vehicles at the Droitwich DC. The company has already been providing transport services to Potter Logistics for over 20 years.

Steve McCarthy, general manager of the Potter Logistics Droitwich DC comments, "This is an excellent opportunity for us to strengthen our position as Palletline members. By forming this alliance we can now offer Palletline services from two locations, Droitwich and York."

SMT managing director, Rob Batsford says, "Forming this alliance has taken our relationship with Potter Logistics to a new level. Operating from their Droitwich DC will be beneficial for both companies and the Palletline link in York will open up new opportunities for Potter and SMT."
