Potter Logistics took delivery of two new Mercedes Benz Antos 26 tonne rigid lorries as part of their 50th celebrations complete with personalised registrations.
At this stage of their continuing vehicle expansion and upgrade programme the two trucks; supplied by Northside Truck & Van, Hull will replace two older Euro IV Mercedes Axors. Fully liveried in Potter’s distinctive yellow and 50th logos the vehicles will primarily be used as part of the Potter Palletline fleet operating from Potter Logistics’ York DC.
The registration numbers Y50PL and D50PL are a mark of Potter’s 50th celebrations and founder Derrick Potter who started the company in 1965. Fifty years later Potter Logistics now operates from eight distribution centres and three rail freight terminals employing more than 300 staff with its yellow trucks making hundreds of deliveries every day.
