The unrivalled payload and proven reliability of the Isuzu 2011 truck range are the principal attractions on the twin vehicle line up on the Isuzu stand at this year's Food & Drink Logistics Show at the NEC.
Isuzu has two of its popular 7.5 tonne "Forward" N75.190 rigid trucks on display, which are in the striking liveries of two customers: Hoo Hing, a Chinese supermarket network and importer of oriental food and catering products, and specialist company, Medina Dairy, which is the largest independent dairy in the UK.
Announcing details of the company's exhibits at this year's show, Keith Child, Marketing Director at Isuzu Truck UK said, "For operators of temperature controlled and dry freight trucks working in the demanding food and drinks logistics market, our current product range is a real winner. With these vehicles, we give operators the opportunity to make major savings, not just in vehicle acquisition costs but also in long-term operating and whole life vehicle running costs."
"Buying a new truck for any business is a big decision in this current climate and getting it right will determine the future relationship between us and our customers for many years to come," added Keith Child, "with Isuzu Truck, operators are guaranteed total support during the life of the vehicle giving them complete peace of mind that the relationship between them and Isuzu is built on trust and for the long-term".
The Hoo Hing Isuzu 7.5t 190bhp rigid has been specified with the company's highly popular 'Easyshift' transmission system, whilst the chassis cab has been fitted with a Solomon 4.8m dual-compartment, dual-temperature, refrigerated body, manufactured to ATP Class C standards designed for both chilled and frozen applications. The vehicle, which has both rear and side door access to the body, has a Carrier Transicold Xarios 600MT refrigeration system and is also fitted with full temperature monitoring and recording equipment.
For Medina Dairy, the Isuzu 7.5t rigid on display also features Isuzu's 'Easyshift' transmission system as standard but this vehicle has been specified with an Osborne Motor Bodies 4.3m refrigerated body that uses a Thermoking V300 20 direct-drive refrigeration system. The Osborne 'Safeload' sliding door body features an insulated compartment at the front for chilled products and a dry freight compartment at the rear to accommodate bread trays.
