The organisers behind Pro2Pac, the processing and packaging solutions exhibition designed exclusively for the food and drink industry, have just launched a new website - pro2pac.co.uk - ahead of the trade show on 13 - 16 March 2011.
New features of the interactive website will include an Innovation Gallery showcasing concepts and designs in packaging which must have been launched within the last six months, plus functionality to allow exhibitors to upload product videos which are fed through to the Pro2Pac TV channel.
Pro2Pac is the UK's only biennial processing and packaging exhibition designed exclusively for the food and drink industry. Deborah Conneely, Marketing Manager at Reed Exhibitions, who run the event, says the website will provide visitors with a sneak preview of exhibitor products at the show: "This year we've really focussed on improving the website for exhibitors so that they can generate maximum interest in their exciting and innovative products and services.
"After the success of the 2009 exhibition, where we welcomed almost 14,000 visitors from the UK's top supermarkets, global brands, independent retailers and food and drink manufacturers, we're determined to help exhibitors get the most out of next year's show and attract even more visitors."
Exhibitors can start uploading their company profile, brochures, product information, images and news to the website from the end of September. Details of visitor attractions and seminar programmes will also be easily located on the site's pages.
In addition, Reed Exhibitions have embarked on a social media strategy for the first time this year, with a Pro2pac profile on Twitter and Linked In, to enable lively debate with food and drink companies ahead of, as well as during, the show.
Considered one of the one of the most important events of the year for the food and drink industry, Pro2Pac will showcase a range of innovative packaging solutions, sustainable materials, new manufacturing equipment and first-class processing and packaging services to help companies operate more effectively, increase profits, and keep up with consumer demand. Free-to-attend Packaging Innovation Seminars also offer expert insight and stimulating debate on the latest packaging trends and challenges.
Pro2Pac takes place from 13-16 March 2011 at ExCeL London. Exhibitors can visit pro2pac.co.uk to upload information from the end of September
