Giti Tire has appointed Richard Hutchins to the newly created position of Senior Product Marketing Manager – Europe for its Truck and Bus Division (TBR).
Richard will be instrumental in new product developments and implementation of TBR tyres into OE and replacement markets, as well as contributing to product strategy including technical, competitor, pricing and market analysis.
The role, which encompasses its GT Radial and Primewell brands, will require him to identify trends and innovations in the relevant markets, as well as reinforce the company’s approach in key target countries to maximise sales.
Richard will report directly to Peter Foulkes, Marketing Director Europe – TBR. He will be based in Giti Tire’s UK head office in Northwich, Cheshire.
He joins from Goodyear where he held the position of Key Accounts and OE Manager for Agricultural and Industrial tyres. He worked for the company for over 25 years in senior roles.
