Since its acquisition by The Constructor Group two years ago, the existing PSS product range has been assessed and additional products will now be offered to its customers. Building on the brand’s 40-year history, PSS are introducing five new shelving systems, a construction system and plastic storage bins; each new range strengthening the brand’s position in the market place.
Following the creation of a national distribution hub at Swindon in April last year and the introduction of S90 shelving in June 2010, PSS intends to build on its success with the introduction of these additional products. The current longspan shelving ranges, Shelfplan and Strongspan, are continuing and a number of new shortspan systems are now being added. Premier Office Shelving and Value Office Shelving systems are being launched, plus two Value Industrial Shelving systems. The fifth system to be added is a chrome wire shelving display unit, suitable for front of house retail situations with the intention to roll out further products later in the year.
The PSS renowned pallet racking ranges, Stronglock and Premierack, have undergone some development work and PSS will be launching a new ‘I beam’ profile to the market in the next few months, further increasing the variety of beam sections available for these ranges.
Small parts storage is also included in their range for the first time and customers will be able to purchase a choice of tough, versatile plastic storage containers and a multipurpose construction system, called Punched Angle.
Managing Director, Richard Moss says, "This is an exciting time for PSS. This brand has been one of the UK’s leading providers of pallet racking and shelving for four decades and now has an opportunity to build on an almost unrivalled reputation for service, quality and technical expertise."
