Re-branded Oilgear offers engineering and support partnerships for a changing world

For over 90 years Oilgear has been a leading figure in the design and manufacture of electro-hydraulic packages for many different industries around the world. Oilgear’s hydraulic components are some of the most reliable and efficient on the market, and its engineering expertise allows it to design turnkey packages and provide maintenance and repair services that keep its systems operating for decades.

The 9th of June saw a global re-brand for the business intended to promote its full range of capabilities and provide greater support to all end-users throughout the sales cycle.

Kieran Doyle, UK Managing Director for Oilgear, comments: “Oilgear holds a unique place within our market. We design and manufacture in-house a complete range of hydraulic components that compete favourably with leading brands such as Bosch Rexroth, Parker Hannifin, Alcoa and Rockwell. We also offer a bespoke engineering service that will design and deliver a turnkey electro-hydraulic package for any market sector including Industrial, Energy, Mobile, Defence and Aerospace.

“Furthermore, we operate an extensive range of on-site test stands in many of our facilities around the world – the UK alone offers multi-fluid, high flow and high pressure test rigs for pumps, manifolds and valves. We also offer maintenance and service contracts which include remote condition monitoring, regular inspections and system upgrade recommendations which can improve the efficiency and performance of older systems – even if they were not original Oilgear designs.

“Many leading manufacturers simply don’t offer such a wide ranging service, expecting end-users to source support from local service agents. Equally, service agents are not able to rely on a global network which can design, test and build components to short lead times. Oilgear has been providing this service for many years, and the purpose of the re-brand is to help us promote it better so more businesses can benefit.”

Launched on the 9th of June, with open days held throughout Europe and the rest of the world, the re-brand includes a new website and updated product literature which promotes the entire span of ‘Oilgear Capabilities’ on an equal platform. The re-brand has been supported with a multi-million pound investment in global manufacturing and testing facilities, to help service the increasing demand for Oilgear solutions.

The message is clear: whether you are a long term customer, or calling for the first time, Oilgear is able to work alongside you as a local partner to provide ongoing support for many years to come.
