Reflexite keeps raising the bar when it comes to safety and visibility. From 2nd to 5th November, the company will be presenting both new and well known products for PPE to visitors of this year's Expoprotection exhibition in Paris. The overall focus of the Expoprotection show is safety solution for all types of professional garments - from general workwear to flame retardant equipment for fire fighters.
Earlier this year, Reflexite introduced a brand new corporate identity, with a new logo, and a new and increased visual focus on what the company's products really do - they save lives.
At the Expoprotection, Reflexite will be showcasing a full range of EN471 approved reflective tapes; all with the one objective of keeping the wearer seen and safe in all working conditions. Reflexite is the original inventor of the prismatic technology for retroreflective materials, which is today widely recognized as being the safest and most highly reflective technology available. Today, the company's product range does however also include standard glass bead tapes, which means that Reflexite can today rightfully so claim to be a Full Range Supplier of Reflective Safety Solutions.
'We have divided our EN471 approved tapes into 5 Safety Grades, to make it easier for the user to determine which tape would in fact be best for the type of work environment in which it will be used.
In broad terms the grade 1 and 2 are for the lower end glass bead tapes, which would be used on e.g. vests. The higher grades 3 to 5 is for the prismatic tapes - recommended where long distance visibility is key and where visibility also in the rain is vital. This could for instance be for garments that are worn by highway workers', states Emmanuel Pitiot, Reflexite's European Market Manager.
Besides introducing the Safety Grade concept at Expoprotection, Reflexite will also be celebrating the European launch of a new EN471 approved tape, which will be the first prismatic reflective tape to be aimed at the Industrial Wash market. The tape is called Reflexite GP370, with the introduction of this it is the end of industrial wash garments being limited to the use of grey reflective tapes. The GP370 is available in no less than 4 different approved colours - grey, white, orange and fluorescent yellow.
