Rory Stewart MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, will deliver a keynote ministerial speech on the government’s latest resource management policies and plans at RWM 2015.
Barry Dennis, RWM Chairman, said: “We are delighted that Mr Stewart is addressing the conference at such a crucial time for circular economy aims, with proposals due to be refreshed by the European Union in the autumn. We hope to see the introduction of a new, more ambitious package of measures from the UK government to drive a successful circular economy.”
Visitors to RWM will have the opportunity to see the ministerial speech, delivered via video, each day at the show in the popular Circular Economy Connect Theatre. The Defra minister for Resource Management’s message will be broadcast on the first day of RWM, (Tuesday 15 September) at 10.15am, the following day at 11.30 and on the final day at 10.15am.
RWM, organised by i2i Events Group in partnership with CIWM is Europe’s largest event for resource efficiency and waste management and takes place from 15-17 September at the NEC, Birmingham.
