Rugby-based Exact Logistics has opened a new facility as part of an exciting development programme

Rugby-based Exact Logistics has opened a new facility as part of an exciting development programme. The company was started only two years ago in the teeth of the recession and has found a winning formula to grow the business whilst keeping a tight hold on finances.

Adam Shuter, Managing Director, said, "Our success is down to a combination of the intelligent use of the Palletways network and our own customer focussed activities. The reliability and geographic coverage of the Palletways network allows us to sell a top quality service to our customers, but not overstretch our financial or credit resources because of the excellent cheque exchange system."

Exact Logistics joined the Palletways network in 2009 and provides deliveries in west and south Warwickshire. As a result of the phenomenal growth, Exact Logistics marked its second anniversary by moving into a new 6,000 sq ft facility based in Dunchurch, near Rugby, comprising of warehouse and office space for the company's nine strong team. Local MP Jeremy Wright performed the opening ceremony.

"Our investment in larger premises means we can now develop the business further and enable more local customers to benefit from our palletised freight services," commented Karen Shuter, Sales Director. "We have established ourselves in the local market and our plans include expanding our European operation."
