SSI Schaefer continues to reaffirm its growing position within the UK materials handling industry by strengthening and increasing its talented management team - Russ Veal has joined SSI Schaefer as Mobile Storage Systems Manager.
The position of Mobile Storage Systems Manager, aimed at expanding the mobile shelving side of the business, is a new role within the organisation, one that SSI Schaefer has identified as an area to be capitalised upon when the economy picks up - working proactively rather than reactively.

With over ten years in the industry occupying a number of different roles, including territory and regional sales manager within the commercial and public sector markets, Russ is more than ready to take on such a challenging role with SSI Schaefer.
Russ said: "I am delighted to be working for a UK and world brand leader in the development and manufacture of leading, technologically advanced storage and distribution systems for the materials handling industry. SSI Schaefer have been designing and installing mobile shelving systems for over fifty years but I want to take the product into new markets."
He continued: "Mobile shelving is the perfect storage solution for general office use including files, boxes and archive as well as being suited to the cleanroom industry, notably those within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, chemical and research sectors due to its simple, yet streamlined design, providing optimum space utilisation - it is these such industry arenas that I want to focus on."
Russ will also be promoting SSI Schaefer's new trackless mobile shelving system that requires only one rear track guide to be fitted, resulting in minimal interruption during installation and floor coverings undamaged - the trackless shelving can be fitted directly onto the ground.
