The mighty Mercedes-Benz Unimog is in a league of its own, so it’s no surprise that when it comes to suppling this prestigious vehicle, a dedicated expert is who you need.
Rygor Commercials is one of the select Mercedes-Benz Truck franchised dealerships in the UK to supply and maintain the Unimog and is delighted to welcome to its team, Matt Cleave, as its new Unimog Sales Manager. The company created this new role within the business to offer a value-added, expert service level for customers interested in the Unimog.
Matt started his career as a machinery engineer, working his way up through dealerships, with roles in service, parts and sales, giving him an expert, rounded view of the entire industry and proving that he truly knows commercial vehicles, inside and out.
“I grew up on a farm, so I was always aware of the Unimog from an agricultural perspective,” Matt said. “Throughout my career I have worked with a range of vehicles, but the Unimog, being such a specialist product, was something I always wanted to work with, which is why I was attracted to this role at Rygor.”
Matt is based out of Rygor’s Heathrow branch, but is committed to being out visiting customers and arranging Unimog demos to give customers a real-life experience of utilising this one-of-a-kind vehicle within their business.
