SATO appoints Benoît Gourlay as Head of Sales for Consumables

SATO France, a global leader in barcode printing, labelling, and EPC/RFID solutions has appointed Benoît Gourlay as Head of Sales for Consumables. The demand for consumables from SATO’s customers has been increasing and the new position will enable SATO to offer its vast and unique range of products more efficiently.

Consumable products such as labels represent an important part of SATO’s business and Benoît Gourlay’s goal is to reinforce this activity and increase the sales in the French market. SATO’s consumables include labels and thermal transfer ribbons for transport & logistics, food and healthcare industries, as well as special labels for hand labellers in the retail sector. SATO is the only company to combine the roles of printer and hand labeller manufacturer, provider of print and apply solutions, and supplier of OEM print engines, together with technical support by installing complete printing solutions on-site.

Benoît Gourlay has 15 years’ experience in the printing industry. Thanks to his expertise in the label manufacturing industry, he will be able to give knowledgeable advice to SATO’s customers, anticipate their needs and ensure they receive the best possible service.

"This new appointment is a continuation of the investment that has taken place in France during the last year and is also in response to the growing demand from our customers for consumables," says Ikuo Dobashi, Chairman of SATO Corporation and SATO International Europe. "We are pleased to provide customers with comprehensive labelling solutions thanks to our extensive know-how, enabling them to make significant time and cost savings."
