Home to Europe's largest container port, Rotterdam will host one of the most important events in the container shipping calendar, Intermodal Europe 2014, which will take place from 11-13 November this year at the Rotterdam AHOY.
"Intermodal Europe 2014 will, once again, bring together container, transport and logistics professionals from all over the world," says Sophie Ahmed, Event Director. "This three day free-to-attend exhibition and conference presents the opportunity to share the latest industry developments, to network and to do business."
Companies already confirmed to exhibit at Intermodal Europe 2014 include Carrier, Daikin, TAL, Cronos, Seacube, ThermoKing, TOUAX, JadeWeserPort Logistics Zone, the Container Owners Association (COA), Seamark Reefer Service B.V., Seaco Global Limited, Maersk Containers International (StarCool), Unit 45, Multi-Box, Tonglee Reefer plus many more.
High profile speakers will be presenting a full conference programme to include more than 40 conference sessions at Intermodal Europe 2014, with topics to be announced in the lead up to the event. The conference will be split into a Strategy Conference Theatre and an Innovation Conference Theatre, to tackle key and current issues within the market.
Alongside the exhibition and conference, there will also be a number of featured attractions at Intermodal Europe 2014, which will include a Container Park, displaying various types of containers, a networking reception for visitors and exhibitors to meet and discuss business and an internet lounge. Intermodal Europe 2014 will also be co-located with Transport and Logistics Rotterdam for the first time, which will mean that it will benefit from the crossover of their visitors and exhibitors, increasing the opportunity to do business and meet new contacts.
