The UK’s leading trailer manufacturer, SDC have announced they will be exhibiting at Transport Solutions Middle East (TSME) from March 14 to 16, in Dubai’s International Convention and Exhibition Centre. SDC are planning to showcase two trailers at the event including a 4.2m box van and 15m extendable skeletal trailer which have been bespoke built for a local transport operator. The latest trailer exhibition follows a two day customer event which SDC hosted at The Atlantis in January of last year, where they had a flatbed trailer on display.
SDC have been operating in the UAE for over ten years and officially launched ‘SDC Middle East’ last January with sales, service and engineering staff on the ground serving customers in the region. The UK manufacturer boasts a first class customer service to complement their state of the art trailer solutions, which were in excess of 9,400 units in 2015. SDC Middle East also carry a stock of over 15,000 truck and trailer parts from the leading component suppliers, ensuring customer downtime is kept to a minimum.
Stephen McIvor, Sales Manager for SDC Middle East said the TSME event provided an excellent opportunity to demonstrate the quality and sturdiness of SDC Trailers to operators in the UAE; “SDC have a strong reputation in our local market for consistent quality and customer service. We hope that by exhibiting our trailers at Transport Solutions Middle East, local haulage and transport companies will get a better insight into our world class, bespoke trailer solutions. Following the launch of SDC Middle East and an expansion of our 500,000sq ft. manufacturing facilities, we are well placed to meet the growing demand from this market.”
SDC manufacture a wide variety of trailers for road transport and logistics including curtainsiders, box vans, flatbeds, skeletals, urban and extended length trailers. With over thirty-seven years’ experience, SDC have refined their engineering and manufacturing facilities to ensure their trailers are highly robust, and capable of enduring the toughest conditions with minimal maintenance. The company is also at the forefront of trailer innovation and have implemented various aerodynamic and fuel saving features in their equipment, in order to provide the operator with a rapid return on investment.
Joaquim Sebastian D’Costa, Event Director of TSME said “I am delighted SDC have chosen Transport Solutions Middle East as a platform for their trailers here in Dubai. This is the only international exhibition in the region covering the entire supply chain of the transport industry, attracting professionals from government authorities, fleet owners, distributors, and manufacturers. I look forward to working with SDC as they develop their trailer business further across the region.”
