Leading safety equipment supplier C-KO is launching a range of FleetVision reversing camera systems for some of the newest van models on the road, at this year’s Automechanika trade exhibition.

The Middlesex-based company will promote its latest offerings for Ford’s Transit Connect and Custom, and the Volkswagen T5 and T6 ranges, at the event held at Birmingham NEC on June 6-8.

Automechanika is Britain’s biggest exhibition for the automotive supply chain, and C-KO will take the opportunity to showcase its products and services to vehicle fleet operators, manufacturers and after-market suppliers alike.

Sales Director Nick Turner says: “Recent times have seen cameras go from being seen as something of a luxury by many operators, to an absolute necessity for anyone trying to meet the highest safety standards.

“Our range of products offers solutions to improve vision for drivers of anything from a family car to the heaviest trucks on our roads. Crucially they are simple to fit, reliable and cost-effective too, given that they can so easily protect against the risk of small bumps and scrapes or – God forbid – more serious accidents.”

C-KO’s new cameras for Transit and Volkswagen Transporter products are designed to fit alongside a vehicle’s existing brake lights. All offer 120-degree view angles and night-vision LEDs.

The company is also promoting its AHD (Analogue High Definition) camera for larger vehicles. Supplied with its own mounting bracket, this features a two-megapixel lens and 18 LED lights. The camera can be paired with the latest seven-inch flat LCD screen, which provides pin-sharp image resolution of up to 1080p.

From its headquarters in Harrow, C-KO has been involved in the design, development and distribution of products to meet the requirements of customers in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry for over 20 years.

Its products range from rear view safety and reversing systems to an expanding range of solutions to meet increasing demands faced by operators of commercial vehicles plant and equipment – all of which easily exceed the minimum standards stipulated by bodies including Transport for London, Crossrail and the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS), and are backed by a comprehensive warranty and technical support programme.
