SEMA raises standards again on 3rd June

SEMA’s president, Matt Grierson will chair the association’s Standards & Regulations Seminar 2015 on Wednesday 3rd June.

Following the launch of SEMA’s industry-first Code of Practice on Rack Protection, the Constructor Group will review design and use requirements for rack protectors, best practice and application of industry standards.

Mike Savage of SEMA’s technical committee (STC) will lead on the interface with the European product group; FEM. Also of the STC, Nick Betteley will provide insights into the updated Cantilever Racking Code in relation to the FEM standard and Steve Cowen will provide a broad overview of other developments, including SEMA’s new proposed installation guidelines.

Ian Phillips of QCS International provides guidance on compliance with those environmental standards which are often requested in tender documentation.

SEMA’s Standards Seminar is a most relevant opportunity for those decision makers involved in specifying and utilising storage systems who are looking to embrace both compliance and effectiveness.

The half day event at the National Metalforming Centre, West Bromwich starts at 9.45am, concludes with a buffet lunch and is excellent value for money at £75 + VAT. Cost to SEMA User Club members is discounted to £55 + VAT.
