Mary Creagh MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs will be the keynote speaker at 'REPLAST 2012' a BPF Seminar examining the challenge of the new plastics recycling targets. Ms Creagh will present the Labour Party views on the targets and will also take part in a panel debate as part of the seminar.
The event, to be held on 11th October 2012 at the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining in London will examine the implication of the recycling targets as well as providing an opportunity for delegates to listen to the latest thinking on plastics recycling.
The BPF's expert speakers will provide a detailed look into the issues facing the UK's plastics recycling industry and will present on a wide range of topics including end of waste legislation; emerging technologies for plastics recycling;the financial attractiveness of the sector to investors; and the perspectives of retailers on using recycled plastics products.
