shipntrak has announced that they will be working alongside the University of Hull’s Logistics Institute moving forward.
Founded in 2005 the Logistics Institute is a world-class centre of excellence in global logistics and supply chain management. Over the last eight years the institute has assisted over 500 businesses with their logistics and supply chain issues creating over 160 new jobs and increasing sales by £55 million per year.
shipntrak and the Logistics Institute plan to work together to utilise the contacts acquired by both parties and to showcase shipntrak to a wider global audience. Through this partnership shipntrak will look to educate businesses on how implementing the shipntrak system will lead to a number of savings being made including reductions in fuel costs and emissions, increasing efficiency of operations and having more control over the use and cost of sub-contractors and deliveries.
Andrew Johnson, director of shipntrak commented: "We are delighted to be working with the Logistics Institute whose expertise in the logistics field is well respected nationally and internationally. The shipntrak system has the potential to save very many of their customers and contacts a substantial amount of money and in an industry which often works on tight margins it could have a profound effect on the profitability or otherwise of many operations. We believe that this is an industry game-changing system and look forward to demonstrating this to an ever increasing audience of beneficiaries".
shipntrak is currently live and running a Beta version which means the system is now completely free – there are no subscription fees, no sign up costs and no auction fees….. it is simply free to use!
