Solus Ceramics invest in best-of-breed WMS from Access Group

Solus Ceramics, distributors of premium stone and ceramic tiles, has invested in warehouse management solution Access Delta from Access Group to drive efficiencies within the operation whilst the business enjoys its next growth journey. This comes as the firm looks to increase visibility and productivity by reducing cost, and increasing service, throughout their warehouse operations.

Byron Nikolouzos, IT & business systems manager for Solus Ceramics, explains, “Recent growth prompted us to explore new options to accommodate the businesses success. We needed to increase visibility whilst exercising additional warehouse management control across our supply chain to maintain our consistent growth aspirations.

“As a result we invested in Access Delta. With this solution we’ll be removing the duplication of entry into the host system. We will also have real-time visibility of warehouse tasks including operator performance. This will improve our accuracy of picking and overall customer experience.” Access Group’s solution will allow for the removal of manual processes thanks to the integration and system driven automation capacity.

Byron elaborates, “The reason we partnered with Access Group was down to their professionalism, sector experience and that they proved to offer the best warehouse management system on the market. Access Delta will be ready to handle a host of warehouse complexities that we may adopt in the future.” Access Group proved themselves in the UK as a market leading WMS provider, this gave Solus confidence that they were investing in a future proofed solution.

Real-time visibility will contribute to a host of productivity benefits, including reduced order fulfilment and the ability to continue growth without necessarily increasing headcount. Byron confirmed, “We’re looking forward to pursuing our growth with an efficient solution that will reduce costs, increase visibility and offer us greater warehouse management control.”
