Spedian is helping the newly launched iDeli Online delicatessen to ring the changes with seasonal advertising messages with its easy-to-remove, reusable van graphics system.

Food lovers are being tempted to try iDeli’s delicious foods thanks to a series of tantalising images displayed on the sides and back of its Mercedes trunk vehicle which runs daily between Basingstoke and Willenhall in the West Midlands. And as the new brand gather’s pace it is planned to utilise Spedian’s unique graphics as it grows its vehicle fleet.

Unlike many other vehicle graphics systems, Spedian™ takes less than an hour to apply and the graphics can be removed, rolled up and stored for later re-use … ideal for seasonal campaigns such as Christmas parties, the festival season or summer picnics.

The system requires no nuts, bolts, rivets, aluminium or plastics frames to be fixed to the vehicle and graphics can be removed without any damage to the vehicle’s substrate, so changing campaigns is quick, easy and problem-free.

iDeli is a new service that makes shopping for festive feasts, birthday celebrations, summer parties and other special occasions easy by delivering fine foods direct to customers’ doors at two clicks of a mouse.

Mouthwateringly delicious choices include a whole range of deli-style products and everyday essentials, such as fresh meats, sandwich and jacket potato fillings, cheeses, charcuterie, sliced meats, fantastic hand raised pies, antipasto, chutneys and authentic curry sauces.

Steve Clayton, Managing Director of iDeli, said: “We chose Spedian because its fantastic flexibility allows us to fit our messages to the season - we are running a ‘Planning a party? – Make it memorable’ campaign at the moment.

“We have other campaigns up our sleeve for 2017 which will highlight more of our fantastic foods and we really want to whet customers’ appetites with a range of different images.

“What tickles your taste buds at Christmas will differ from food that takes your fancy for a summer festival and we want to reflect that. Spedian™ is easy to use, cost-effective and high quality – we are delighted with it.”

To reinforce the messages iDeli is running a “spot the lorry” competition on Facebook that encourages potential customers to look out for the distinctive truck as it travels between Basingstoke and Willenhall, West Midlands.

Lawrence Craig, CEO of Spedian, said: “Our aim at Spedian is to help customers maximise the power of advertising on their vehicles by removing the hassle from changing or refreshing campaigns.

“We are delighted that iDeli is using Spedian to keep its campaigns fresh, eye-catching and up-to-date. It is what we do best and we look forward to continuing to work with iDeli as the brand and its vehicle fleet continues to grow.”

In a world first this year Spedian launched an ‘invisible’ graphics frame that weighs just 340g (for a typical 3.5m box van), called Spedian SuperLite.
