SSI Schaefer exhibits at TCS&D Show

SSI Schaefer is exhibiting at TCS&D 2013 in Peterborough on 18 and 19 September. The company will be showcasing its standard range of storage equipment for both frozen and ambient environments including live storage case picking, adjustable pallet racking and plastic distribution containers.

The range of racking systems available from SSI Schaefer are ideal for the temperature controlled storage and distribution market together with its extensive selection of accessories to cater for all types of pallet storage applications. The Regal 3000 shelving system can also provide high density storage for other industries, including engineering and automotive and can be configured to support upper level mezzanines.

Its extensive plastic container range provides excellent protection for loose items in the chilled and frozen environment, allowing easy handling – the company’s returnable containers also help to reduce packaging costs and stock damage.

First in First Out (FIFO) stock management can be effectively achieved using carton live storage which will be on show together with examples of other deep storage systems for both pallet and case storage and picking.

A video demonstration will give visitors the chance to learn more about the Orbiter – a deep pallet, high density storage and retrieval system leading the way providing safe and controllable technology – perfect for temperature controlled environments.

The video will also showcase the latest in mobile racking from SSI Schaefer, a product that freezer warehouse owners should look at – mobile racking is a pragmatic, smart, state-of the-art solution for freezer warehousing.

In addition, visitors will also be able to find out about SSI Schaefer’s full range of IT Warehouse Management and Control Systems, including SAP integration. Using SAP’s latest software, EWM – Extended Warehouse Management – SSI Schaefer is able to provide warehouse operators with real-time information and a high level of process and inventories transparency.

A team of experienced technical consultants will be on hand to discuss all storage requirements. Stand Number F17.
